Specifications

Coverage: 18 linear ft at 3/16" x 1" deep joint
Curing Time (Hours): At 70°F, shave after 45 minutes. Full cure in 24 hours (for solvent top coatings)

How to Apply

Surface
The concrete must be completely dry with no presence of moisture prior to application. To fill cracks, use a saw grinder with a dry diamond or concrete blade and cut along the crack to open it up to 3/16" to 1/4" wide. Edges must be a 90° angle to the surface to avoid feather edging which would result in unprotected edges of concrete.

Blow out and remove all dust, dirt, and debris or contaminants from the control/contraction joint. Place backer rod or sand at bottom of joint before application. Failure to properly lay substrate can result in sealant bond failure due to joint expansion/contraction.

Cartridge
For light foot traffic: The joint width should be a maximum of 3/4" and the depth should be a minimum of 1/2."
Clean out joints and make sure they are sound and dry before applying the sealant.

Shake the cartridge forcefully for 60 seconds, then let stand upright for 5 minutes to allow any bubbles to rise to the top. Insert cartridge into dispenser tip and point upward at a slight angle. Be sure to remove the plastic cap and plug from the top of the cartridge. Important: Before dispensing into joint, balance the cartridge by slowly dispensing a small amount of material into a disposable container until both materials flow evenly from the cartridge.

Application
Place mixing nozzle directly over repair area. Dispense material using full smooth trigger pulls. Short or choppy strokes will result in uneven drying of material. Allow material to gravity feed into joint. Overfill joint so material is slightly higher than the face of the concrete slab you are repairing. Allow for material to cure for 45 minutes at 70°F then use a sharp floor scraper to shave excess material from top surface. After scraping excess off allow material to fully cure for 1 hour before subjecting to heavy traffic. Surface may be painted with a solvent free top coat, 24 hours after application.
